So much so, that we knew we wanted to upgrade the spot in a way that would last and serve our family for many years to come.

I love designing spaces with my wonderful, talented hubby and seeing our visions come to life!

My first gluten & dairy free Sourdough Boule! Read on to hear how it is….

After several weeks of activating my starter, I finally baked a loaf. It had great rise and the flavor is perfect! On the flip side, it’s probably too dense and gummy inside, but I don’t even care, because I know I can perfect it, and I’m just proud of myself for getting this far! I didn’t have most of the flours I needed for some of the recipes I wanted to try, so I actually did a lot of “subbing” and I’m impressed that it turned out at all. 😅

Sourdough is fun, and challenging and for someone who doesn’t even bake regular bread loaves, I’m very happy with how this turned out!

I’ll save all of my sourdough process in a hilight, so you can go back and reference! Also, send me a DM if you want to try the recipe I ended up using!

Marriage isn’t always easy, but I’m a firm believer that prayer and focusing on growing together towards the same goals in life, and working together through challenges builds a bond that is unlike any other.

Always keep in mind, even through conflict, that you’re on the same team… and always keep in mind spiritually speaking, who the real “enemy” is and work together against that and for each other. 🧡
